Bad Times For Kia, Hyundai and Toyota in Iran’s Market
It is about five months past from the day when the Automobile Registration Website closed to importers. Since that day, some models of Kia, Hyundai and Toyota cars’ are becoming rare in Iran’s market.
Khodrocar – According to the reports of Iran’s auto market experts, these three brands had the biggest price jump, however they are rare in the market. Other models of these brands had no customer because most of them are second handed and the unclear after sales service.
Experts think that the market of Kia, Hyundai and Toyota will face bad times in Iran. However, compared to the global sell of these brands, they are not selling very well in Iran but never left it. Also, these brands became more popular during the past years and had high rates of importing in Iran.
To prove the popularity of these brands, it’s enough to say that they were top 3 importing brands to Iran during the past years, but now they are dealing with bad market due to closing the registration website.
"A certain time for opening the registration website is not clear and it’s related to the decision of the cabinet. The SABTARESH website won’t open till the approval of the car’s importing instruction.” Ali Aliabadi, an official of the trade promotion organization told Khdorocar.
Regarding to the unclear time of registration website opening, it is predicted that these brands are losing their market in Iran. Also, after the import restrictions removed, they would need a long time to recover the market.
