Khodrocar - German cars have always been well received in Iran and traditionally rank among the top sellers. In the latest wave of vehicle imports, alongside Japanese, Korean, and Chinese brands, German automakers have also made a strong return. Among them, fully electric models have stood out and attracted the most attention.
One of the most important all-electric vehicles on Iran’s roads today is the Volkswagen ID.4. This attractive and modern crossover is now seen in large numbers across different cities. In addition to its German origins, the ID.4 offers several appealing features that make it a strong contender in the market.
At present, three different versions of the ID.4—Pure, Pure Plus, and Pro—are available. These trims differ in terms of technical specifications and equipment, which is why their market prices also vary noticeably.

In terms of exterior design, the ID.4 Crozz is a compact crossover—or more precisely, a modern electric hatchback crossover—with a clean and minimalist look, free from unnecessary styling elements. The shape of the headlights and the overall body design clearly signal that this is a Volkswagen from any distance. The vehicle makes extensive use of smooth, flowing lines that subtly recall the brand’s heritage, including echoes of the classic Beetle.
At the front, there is no traditional grille. Instead, LED headlights and a large, new Volkswagen logo dominate the face of the car. At the rear, connected taillights with elegant internal graphics and a large diffuser complete the exterior appearance.
Both the Pure Plus and Pro trims share the same electric motor, battery pack, power output, torque, and overall technical specifications. As a result, there is no mechanical difference between these two versions.
The Pure Plus and Pro variants are equipped with a 150-kilowatt electric motor, equivalent to 210 horsepower, mounted on the rear axle. This setup delivers 310 newton-meters of torque to the rear wheels. The battery pack in both versions has a capacity of 84.8 kilowatt-hours and can provide a maximum driving range of up to 600 kilometers on a full charge.
In the Pure trim, the ID.4 features a less powerful electric motor producing 168 horsepower, with the same maximum torque of 310 newton-meters, also sent to the rear axle. The battery pack in this version has a capacity of 55.7 kilowatt-hours and offers a driving range of 442 kilometers on a full charge, based on the WLTP standard.
Overall, the top speed of the Volkswagen ID.4 is electronically limited to 160 kilometers per hour, and acceleration from zero to 100 kilometers per hour takes about 8.5 seconds.
The Pure Plus version of the Volkswagen ID.4 comes with several notable features, including a power tailgate, cornering lights, a heated steering wheel, matrix LED headlights, and illuminated front and rear logos.
The Pro trim, which is the most fully equipped version imported to Iran, adds even more options such as heated front seats, seat massage and memory functions, sporty interior ambient lighting, power-folding side mirrors, blind-spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera system, a panoramic roof, welcome lighting, and customizable lighting animations.
