Every week we pick out a few numbers that are so significant we have to give them a second look. Today we’re looking at key figures from BMW, Aston Martin, Volvo, and more.

The amount of horsepower available on the all-new BMW 8 Series – specifically the M850i xDrive model. Power comes courtesy of a 4.4-liter biturbo V8 paired to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. From a standstill, the sporty coupe will reportedly sprint to 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) in just 3.7 seconds.

The amount of horsepower available on the hot new Aston Martin Rapide AMR. Just 210 examples will be built, each with an asking price of around $240,000 in the U.S. The super sedan will go on sale later in the year.

The number of days until Volvo shows off its all-new S60 sedan in South Carolina. The Swedish marque is unveiling its latest redesigned vehicle at its new South Carolina manufacturing facility, and when it shows up, it could come with an electrified T6 engine and a price tag of around $35,000.
