Arian Diesel Unveils Automatic JAC 12-Ton Truck at Press Conference

Regarding the localization of this truck, Mahmoudi stated that initial localization would be at 20%, but with the addition of body and paint production lines, this figure is expected to exceed 30%.

At a press conference on the sidelines of the unveiling ceremony for the automatic JAC 12-ton truck, Saeid Mahmoudi, CEO of Arian Diesel, announced that production of 1,000 to 1,500 units is planned for the next year, with sales set to begin in spring.

Regarding the localization of this truck, Mahmoudi stated that initial localization would be at 20%, but with the addition of body and paint production lines, this figure is expected to exceed 30%.

On the issue of foreign currency allocation, Mahmoudi emphasized that higher localization facilitates easier currency allocation and enhances the company's priority in receiving funds. However, due to the absence of NIMA-rate foreign currency, the company must procure funds through the Currency and Gold Exchange Market. He noted that the current allocation process for automotive companies takes nearly twice as long as before.

Regarding pricing, Mahmoudi stated that the cost of the JAC 12-ton truck will be determined based on its technical specifications, market conditions, and competitor pricing.
