Losses of Auto Industry from Delay of Announcing New Prices/ Unclear Situation, Common Point of Auto Industry Activists
Auto industry is waiting for the price increment but its delay is putting their situation in critical position and they are suffering lots of losses.
Khodrocar – There are lots of rumors about the
price increment of local products. It was said that the president is
against price increment but Reza Rahmani, minister of Industry said that
Mr. President is not against it.
Because
of auto industry sanctions and currency turbulence, auto makers had
problem to supply components then production and supply decreased
significantly which changed the condition of market and price difference
between factory and market get to about 100 percent.
According
to automakers producing with the current prices is not possible and
even make the auto industry bankruptcy so in the current situation
increasing vehicle price is the only way to remove problems.
Whispers
of price increment have made a new atmosphere in the parallel
industries, part makers and dealers are waiting for the price increment.
"Part
makers are waiting for new prices because right now prices are not real
for example some cars have 100 percent price increment which needs to be
organized very soon. Due to new problems most of manufacturers are
producing with half of their capability and final price of components
increased for 60 to 80 percent so some factories are closed.” Farhad Beh
Nia, voice of part makers association told Khodrocar reporter.
"There
is no business in local or foreign vehicle market and the market
stopped. People who needs car should buy with high prices. Real
customers are waiting and auto market is seeking the new prices.” Saeed
Motameni, president of dealers and exhibition owners union told
Khodrocar reporter.
Activists
of the auto industry are waiting for new prices and all branches of the
industry are in a unclear shadow. The result of current condition would
be stagnation and this is going to be harmful for the whole industry.
Any decisions like price increment should be announce soon to stop
losses.
