The car should have plenty of power to match the world-ending name, too. We can't put too much weight on this speculation, but a poster on the McLaren Life forum claims that theRagnarok's engine is under development and could produce 1,440 horsepower (1,074 kilowatts). The mill would allegedly have some form of hybridization and have a redline around 9,000 rpm.

Rumors of a hybrid supercar have been floating around the World Wide Web for quite some time and it looks like they’re legit. While the new ultra-exclusive electrified Lambo won’t be able to match the Asterion’s punch, it is believed the car in question will offer a combined output of 838 horsepower. The aforementioned private event organized in Italy brought together a total of 200 prospective buyers, so it must’ve been quite the dispute to claim one despite the rumored pre-tax price tag of $2.5 million.

Ford wants to save no less than $25 billion in the next four to five years and, to achieve that, it will significantly reduce its engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and sales costs. This will affect mainly its European workforce as, according to The Sunday Times, up to 24,000 workers in Great Britain, Germany, and Spain could be laid off.
