The top cars bought by FIFA World Cup footballers

Footballers’ cars are always a hot topic and with the World Cup in full swing, here are the 10 best cars driven by the players at the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Khodrocar - Footballers and expensive cars go hand in hand – especially with their inflated wages – and they usually get their hands on some of the most exclusive vehicles in the world.

With many of the sport’s best and brightest stars taking part in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, we list some of the cars owned by those players.

Cristiano Ronaldo – Bugatti Chiron

The Real Madrid and Portugal striker is well-known for being one of the most clinical goal scorers in football, but he also loves a fast motor. Having owned various versions of the Bugatti Veyron, Ronaldo has since bought the latest model from the French hypercar manufacturer. The £2m machine almost matches the Portuguese captain’s speed and power on the pitch, capable of reaching more than 260mph.

Neymar – Audi R8 Spyder

Brazil’s talisman has owned quite a few impressive cars in his time, but one of his current motors is the Audi R8 Spyder. The Paris Saint Germain forward is flamboyant most of the time anyway, so his garage matches up with that quite well. Audis continue to make appearances in the Brazilian’s garage, with the RS7 and Q7 also included in his vast collection.

Mohammed Salah – Mercedes GLE Coupe

Salah was a revelation in the Premier League last season and the Egyptian forward is one of the most exciting players going into the tournament this summer. Despite the forward keeping his private life under wraps most of the time, he has been seen driving the Mercedes GLE Coupe out of Liverpool’s Melwood training ground.

Lionel Messi – Pagani Zonda Roadster

The Argentine superstar is one of the most recognisable footballers in the world and the diminutive yet incredibly talented player is one of the greatest to ever play the game. Messi has owned some rather lovely cars, but the highlight is the Pagani Zonda Roadster – a lightweight hypercar capable of speeds well over 200mph and Messi’s is one of 40 ever built.

Antoine Greizmann – Maserati Gran Turismo

Rumoured to be on his way to Barcelona this summer, the French striker has stuck with his guns and stayed with Athletico Madrid for the foreseeable future. In his time in the Spanish capital, Griezmann has bought many a nice car, including the Maserati Gran Turismo – a lovely sports coupe with plenty of appeal.

Sergio Ramos – Audi RS6

The only defender on our list has also benefitted from sponsorship here, with the Real Madrid centre back getting an Audi RS6 through the German brand’s sponsorship of Los Blancos. The Spanish captain has also owned many other top end models, but surprisingly a retro Fiat 600 also features in Ramos’s garage – something you wouldn’t expect of a footballer.
