The Contract of IDEM and Benz Will be Signed
The contract between Benz and I.D.E.M (Iranian Diesel Engine Manufacturing Co.) is going to be signed soon, as the cooperation of IKCO and Benz continues.
KhodroCar – the contract of sale and after sale services between IKCO and Benz was signed after a long time of negotiating, in September. This contract is the new season of Benz activities in Iran in the field of commercial vehicles.
It was announced that according to the first agreement in the winter of 2016, IKCO and Benz are going to sign a contract for lunching two Joint venture companies.
According to KhodroCar reporter, an informed source has said that the contract of launching a joint venture company for producing Benz’s engines in Iran is going to be signed between I.D.E.M and Benz soon.
As it seems, this contract will be signed in the next two weeks, then I.D.E.M will produce engines with the cooperation of Mercedes-Benz in Iran.
I.D.E.M is one of the IKCO’s subsidiaries and IKCO diesel has 77 percent of its shares. This Company was established in 1971 with the joint investment of Iran and Germany under license of Daimler for manufacturing light diesel engines.
