This declining trend has entered a new phase since last week and with the announcement of new prices of assembled cars by the Competition Council, it continued to decrease until it was stated that a 50% decrease was recorded in some cars.

In this situation, the support organization issued a statement similar to the last two years, prohibiting the announcement of car prices on internet platforms in order to control the market by relying on this not very efficient method. Meanwhile, preparations for the second integrated car sales plan have also started since yesterday, which is expected to answer part of the existing demand in this way and reduce the prices to some extent.

"Currently, assembly cars have experienced a drop of 250 to 400 million tomans compared to last week, which has not been without the effect of the Competition Council's decision to announce the new prices of assembly cars.” Ayoub Ghafari, member of car autoshow owners told khodrocar reporter. 

"Definitely, with the start of importing new or used cars, we will see the prices fall again in the market, because with the increase in supply, the price of cars in the market will decrease.” He added. 

"The announcement of the price of assembled cars by the Competition Council has significantly increased the stagnation of the market because in the new prices of the Competition Council, the price of assembled cars has decreased significantly and this issue has had its effect on the price of these cars in the market.” He continued. 

According to him, it is expected that with the implementation of the second stage of the integrated sales plan, the trend of decreasing prices will continue.

"The trend of reducing prices in the car market continues and the prices are close to the price of March last year, but even though the prices are falling, there is no demand for buying and the market is stagnant.” Saeed Motameni told khodrocar rerporter. 

Regarding the reasons for the decrease in car prices, he says: At the beginning of this year, car supply decreased, but after the official increase in car prices, car manufacturers resumed the supply and the market reached a balance in terms of supply and demand, hence the witness We have reduced the price of cars, so that the price of Denaplus Turbo has decreased by 70 million tomans compared to the previous days.

The continuation of the price drop in the market is due to the fact that yesterday, in a letter to the car sales sites, the support organization announced the prices of the exhibitors' union as the basis for car pricing on the sites and demanded that the cash sales price of domestically produced zero-kilometer cars be announced and included from the ceiling. Do not exceed the last price uploaded on the union website.
