Notice of Koosha Khodro Company’s violation of Trademark of Kia Corporation

Khodrocar - Kia Corporation has been made aware that Koosha Khodro Company, Tehran, Iran — an   automobile and trading company — is claiming to be a registered Kia distributor and have publicly advertised their intention to import Kia automobiles.

We would like to inform the public that Kia has no contractual relationship of any kind with Koosha Khodro nor does it have any  intention to do so in the foreseen future. Furthermore, Kia has not granted Koosha Khordro  any right or authority to import or sell Kia automobiles from Kia directly or from any Kia distributor; to provide any after sale service or customer service; or to  perform any marketing or advertisement activities regarding Kia or any of its products, in any territory within the Islamic Republic of Iran

Kia has notified the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade of this issue and is working to take the necessary actions to protect its property rights.
