The most worrying thing is that even after the government lifts the ban of importation, importers can’t import vehicle like the past due to the sanctions. This means that the only way for importer companies to continue is transforming to after sales service companies.

"According to the statistics near 3200 person have been unemployed since the past 2 months. If this condition continues then more people will have this destiny in the next months.” Mehdi Dadfar, secretary of vehicle importers association told Khodrocar reporter.

"Among all 14 thousand active people in the field of vehicle importation 6 thousand will surely lose their jobs. Now the most suffered industry in Iran is the auto industry. Meanwhile, prices are increasing every day.” He added.
