According to Khodrokar, Kimia Gostar Ara, backed by a team of top university graduates and 15 years of expertise in electric vehicle design and production, launched its serious investment in electric motorcycle manufacturing under the brand name iMoto in 2023.
Key features of emoto electric motorcycles include suitability for urban traffic and steep roads, a riding experience similar to gasoline-powered motorcycles, enhanced control with a clutch and throttle, and a durable chassis and suspension system designed for carrying cargo.
Company officials stated that, in addition to designing the final product based on market needs, Kimia Gostar also develops all key components in-house and ensures an efficient supply chain by leveraging both domestic and international resources.
At the exhibition, the company unveiled two models: Ara samir and Ara samir Plus. The Arasmir model is equipped with a 3.5 kWh battery, generating 200 Nm of torque. It offers a 105 km range per charge and a top speed of 65 km/h.
The second model, Ara samir Plus, falls into the 200cc category and features a 5.2 kW motor. It fully charges in 3.5 hours and provides a range of 150 km.
The company has not yet announced the official release date for emoto products, but they are set to enter the market soon with highly localized electric motorcycles.
