As the heart of automobile manufacturing, Mexico has a large share of profits for automaker companies with the plants in Mexico, but Donald’s Trump’s new policies are changing this situation.
Ford Motor Co said on Tuesday it plans to idle five North American vehicle assembly plants for a total of 10 weeks to reduce inventories of slow-selling models.
Mexico exported 1.16 million vehicles to the U.S. in the first half of 2017, up 15.6 percent from a year ago, according to the Mexican Automobile Industry Association.
