US President Donald Trump seems poised escalate his trade wars, and looks to be opening up a new front in the automotive sector against dominant Germany luxury brands.

According to the latest report of International Organization of Automobile Manufacturers, American car manufacturers ranked second with 8.13 percent drop. One of the most important reasons for this is the US president’s policies.

Mexico exported 1.16 million vehicles to the U.S. in the first half of 2017, up 15.6 percent from a year ago, according to the Mexican Automobile Industry Association.
